This innovative brand from the USA was created after founder Dana Donofree had breast cancer surgery and could no longer find bras that fit her.

Using her many years of fashion design experience, she set out on a mission to redesign bras that catered to all different types of breasts, from those who have had breast implants, flap reconstruction, bilateral or unilateral mastectomy, lumpectomy or those with natural asymmetry. These bras are specifically made for uneven breasts.

Before & After With Evenly Bra Balancer™

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best bras for uneven breasts?

Our Bra Balancers™ and Subtle Shapers™ let you wear any bra you like while feeling comfortable and confident! For the best results, pair these clever bra inserts with a well-fitting bra (tip: book a fitting with one of our asymmetry-friendly fitters and stockists). Look for bras with lightly padded, full-coverage cups, such as t-shirt bras, instead of balconette or plunge styles. Avoid push-up bras with heavy padding, as these can affect how the Bra Balancer™ or Subtle Shaper™ sits.

You don’t need a pocketed (mastectomy) bra—your smaller breast will hold the Bra Balancer™ or Subtle Shaper™ securely in place. However, if you prefer extra security, you can place it inside the bra’s pocket.

Want to go bra-less? Simply stick the Bra Balancer™ or Subtle Shaper™ to your skin using prosthetic glue.

How can I improve my confidence with uneven breasts?

The first thing to know is that you are definitely not alone! So many of us feel insecure about our boobs – thinking they’re too small, big, droopy, pointy, lumpy, sagging, stretched or uneven. The best thing you can do to lift your confidence and feel less insecure is to reach out to others in the same boat. You’ll realise it’s incredibly common and even people who you think have ‘perfect’ breasts, can find reasons to dislike their boobs.

If your uneven boobs are making you feel less than perky then a great place to turn is to our breast asymmetry support group on Facebook – where members of The Uneven Titty Committee community lift each other up and share tips and advice to help each other. As a member of the committee you’ll also get access to a VIP discount code to use on Evenly bra inserts to restore balance to your bra or swimwear and give you the confidence to put your best front forward!

For more of the positives on finding a support community, have a read of our blog Finding Support and Community with Lopsided Boobs.

Can I wear a regular bra if I have uneven breasts?

Often with uneven breasts you may feel as those the only bras you can wear to prevent gaping on your smaller side or bulging on your larger side are bras with stretchy cups. These can be a great option for many however they are not the best option for everyone as they can still leave you looking visibly uneven which may affect your confidence and clothing choices. The really good news is that an Evenly bra insert can be paired with any bra of your choice and will give you an even silhouette and balanced comfort.
